Installation Rome Remaster
This short guide will detail how to install and work the randomiser for Total War: Rome Remastered.
Once downloaded extract the contents of the zippy to "C:\Users\{your name}\AppData\Local\Feral Interactive\Total War ROME REMASTERED"
Ensure the highlighted elements in the screenshots are all in the correct location.
Launch the randomiser by using the RTWR_RTWLIB.exe. You'll be greeted with the screen below -
Tick or untick the options you'd like to enable. Highlight over the option to see a tip on what that particular option does. If the option is greyed out it just means that the option is unavailable for the currently selected game.
Once satisfied with your selections, click the "Randomise" button.
To begin playing use the play button (shown below). Surrounding the button are various other launch options, checking "Surprise faction" or "Start with faction" will skip the games menus and boot straight into a faction depending on which option you picked.
Once play has been clicked steam will likely show you the warning shown below. If nothing happens click steam in the taskbar as sometimes it doesn't bring the info box to the front.
Click ok on the warning and the total war Launcher will launch. Press play on that and the Rome Remaster launcher will launch. On the Rome Remaster launcher ensure the Randomiser Mod is displayed in the mod manager.
Unlike old Rome Unlocking Factions is a built-in feature, so ensure you select that in the Rome Remaster launcher options.
Then click Play on the Rome Remaster Launcher.
