tn cheez

or by filename

Customization

You can change default editor and path by adding below lines in your '~/.profile' file

export EDITOR="[Your favourite text editor. Default is 'vi']"
export TN_STORAGE="[Directory where notes to be saved. Default is '~/.termnote']"

Multi user shared notes

You can also have a common shared notes space for all users with following steps

  • Create a shared notes directory
sudo mkdir /var/termnote
sudo chmod a+rwx /var/termnote
  • Set environment variable globally in '/etc/profile'
export TN_STORAGE="/var/termnote"
You can’t perform that action at this time.
