I was looking at the groupBy function in Map
https://www.scala-lang.org/api/current/scala/collection/Map.html#groupBy[K](f:A=%3EK):scala.collection.immutable.Map[K,Repr]

It seems that the type signature should distinguish between the K type variable from the map that's being worked on and the K type variable that's the result of the the function supplied to groupBy

So I'd expect to see:

def groupBy[K1](f: ((K, V))  K1): Map[K1, Map[K, V]]

instead of:

def groupBy[K](f: ((K, V))  K): Map[K, Map[K, V]]
