actually, for some reason, the proxy was disabled. So it should be fine without these changes now. @lrytz can you confirm it please?

The xml only lists new versions it seems: https://repo.scala-lang.org/artifactory/maven-nightlies/org/scala-lang/scala3-compiler_3/maven-metadata.xml

@lrytz yes, they were all listed here https://repo.scala-lang.org/ui/native/maven-nightlies/org/scala-lang/scala3-compiler_3/ but not in the xml https://repo.scala-lang.org/artifactory/maven-nightlies/org/scala-lang/scala3-compiler_3/maven-metadata.xml which was another option.... I just downloaded the latest xml file and they are all listed now. Can you double check and close the PR if this is the case?
