  1. Catch entities/character refs which don't have a terminating semicolon.

    jamiemccarthy committed Jul 3, 2002
Many browsers still render these as if the semicolon were there. We
properly insert the semicolon if allowed, and reject the entity for
    disallowed.
  2. Now using Slash::Messages for email delivery. Messages are thus

    Xliff committed Jul 3, 2002
queued by the httpd process and are then actually sent by the
    message delivery task.

    Less work for httpds, GOOD!

almost any tag to contain almost any attributes. And take out some code
in comments.pl validateComment() that pudge points out (and I agree)
doesn't seem to serve any purpose.

  1. PLUGIN

    Xliff committed Jun 28, 2002
    ------
This plugin gives Slash sites the ability to implement the
    "email-this-story-to-a-friend" functionality. Also includes an
opt-out list so folks who don't want this kind of crap, can stop
getting it. Also includes admin functionality to allow removal of
an email address from the opt-out list, in case of abuse.

  3. Comments are now OK in SQL files (dump, prep, schema) on the lines

    jamiemccarthy committed Jun 28, 2002
that contain the SQL statements themselves -- so e.g., the fields in a
table can be commented line-by-line in the CREATE TABLE. The process
of reading those SQL files during an installation has been modularized
(code reuse GOOD!) and improved somewhat. The one caveat is that comments
are still not allowed on the line with the semicolon that terminates
each SQL statement, i.e., the end of each statement must match /;\s*$/.
