The "Organization" type has already several subtypes listed. However Political Party is missing and from a social science (polticial science) perspective Political Parties are distinct from GovernmentOrganization,
NGO, or WorkersUnion.

Would it be possible to add this new subtype?

Would this only be a new sub-type, or would it have additional attributes?

Only a new sub-type. I think the existing attributes are sufficient to describe a political party

Makes sense, adding as "low hanging fruit". We should be able to say that some party published a manifesto, for example.
