parentOrganization has LocalBusiness as domain and Organization as range.

Would it make sense to use the broader Organization as domain?

This is the case for the (kind of reverse, I guess) subOrganization property.

(Coming from this Stack Overflow question, where someone tried to use parentOrganization for Organization.)
