That's very weird. I just created a new vault and it installed version 1.4.1. Are you absolutely sure you are installing the Tasks plugin? Upload.from.GitHub.for.iOS.MOV |

Thank you for getting back to me @schemar, and for taking the time to record that video. I am familiar with the process for installing plugins, and am very certain that I was trying to update (and, when that didn't work uninstall/re-install) Obsidian Tasks. The good news is that, whatever the cause was, it appears to now be resolved: a vault for which I'd repeatedly and unsuccessfully tried to update Tasks, which has been open all through this workday, now does have version 1.4.1. I opened another vault that has been closed since this morning (when I last tried to update Tasks), and it was still on 1.3.0: -- but this time when I clicked the Very weird indeed... |

I've got exactly the same problem. Version is stuck on 1.3.0. Tried the same steps as OP but can't make it work. Filed a bug report here: https://forum.obsidian.md/t/cant-update-plugin/26951 |

Hello @schemar.
I'm eager to start using the latest version of Obsidian Tasks, but after making multiple attempts these past two days, I haven't been able to install it.
Within my main vault, Obsidian shows that 1.3.0 is currently installed, and that version 1.4.1 as available. But when I try to Update, although the process generates no errors (even in the Developer's console), afterward I still have version 1.3.0.
In addition to trying to Update, I've tried:
And the problem has persisted on different computers (one Linux, one Windows) at different locations (home and work) and with different vaults. (Even when I create a new vault, when I install Tasks I get version 1.3.0.)
