songbirdDbTools provides a command-line interface (CLI) that allows for different so called commands.

The general syntax is as follows

songbirdDbTools [options] [command] [command options]

In order to use commands you must provide one option:

-d, -db Path to songbird database file

This option specifies which songbird database file to open.

For songbird and Windows this file can be found in

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Songbird2\Profiles\[YOUR PROFILE ID]\db\

So our basic call looks like this

songbirdDbTools -d C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Songbird2\Profiles\[YOUR PROFILE ID]\db\ [command] [command options].

You can always get a short help by calling

songbirdDbTools --help
