Solar System

Fun project to explore various concept in OpenGL:

  • General shading/lightning in GLSL
  • Cube mapped textures / sphere mapping
  • Geometry shader
  • Skyboxes

I put it here because somebody might want to learn stuff from this.

Dependencies

  • boost
  • OpenGL >= 3.3
  • SDL2
  • GLU
  • GLEW
  • SDL2_image (included)
  • GLM
  • Scons (for building)

Building and usage

To build and run the project, run

scons
./solarsystem

With space the view can be changed.
