@dschult I don't think this America/New_York is valid or if timezone works, bcoz I'm seeing 11:00am in IST..instead of ET see the ss below:

maybe we should convert these to UTC?

Is this only a problem on the scientific-python website or in the isc calendar links, too? I can't recall seeing any issues with the specs meetings in the past and those use timezone, too (but my default I'm in the same timezone)

The time is correctly converted to my local time zone in the downloaded networkx.isc calendar but not on the website. (for other meetings the times are correct on the website i think)

OK, then I would suggest opening a bug report for the website as it affects other meetings, too.
