scikit-learn is a Python package for multivariate analysis using machine learning built on top of SciPy , NumPy
Where: Research Commons Room 7010, Maggie Benston Library
When: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, Monday, November 2, 2015


Dependencies: Make sure you have
Python (>= 2.6 or >= 3.3),
NumPy (>= 1.6.1),
SciPy (>= 0.9).
To check version of your Python and related packages do as following
|==>$ python -V
|==>$ python

import numpy, scipy
print numpy.version , scipy.version

Mac OSX :
|==>$ pip install -U numpy scipy scikit-learn
(If you don't have pip already installed, please first install it)
If you like to have a copy of the package for more serious code developing:
|==>$ git clone
|==>$ cd scikit-learn
|==>$ python install --user
