Details

LMFIT is a Non-Linear Least-Square Minimization and Curve-Fitting library for Python. It is designed to provide simple tools to help you build complex fitting models for non-linear least-squares problems and apply these models to real data.

Where: Simon Fraser University, Burnaby Campus, Research Commons room, Bennett library
When: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, Monday, December 14th, 2015

Prerequisite knowledge: Familiar with basics such as writing a function. Also familiar with minimizing functions and least chi2 methods.

Dependencies: Have ipython notebook installed. Install lmfit library from: https://lmfit.github.io/lmfit-py/installation.html
