IE8 error when using respond.js and the Twitter embedded timeline widget #155

IE8 throws a script error. Looks like respond is trying to get the width of the embedded iframe (or the document inside it..?)

Exact error is:

"Unable to get value of the property 'minw': object is null or undefined"

I'm using the minified version of respond. Remove the embedded Twitter widget and the error goes away.

Ran into same problem today. Quick response (heh..) would be appreciated, as this bug completely disables response.js' functionalities on IE 8.

For a quick fix I would look for alternative Twitter widgets.

I ran into the same problem. I managed to patch it. Give this a try. https://raw.github.com/dtm5011/Respond/master/respond.src.js. It solved the problem for me.

Awesome, just got around to testing this, seems to work beautifully :)

@dtm5011 Solved the problem for me too. Thanks a million.

Can you provide a diff of this so it's more clear what has changed?

This has been fixed with the hasOwnProperty check
