While it’s OK to recommend Anaconda, we still should provide documentation on the pip installation method for people that prefer to take that route, including the installation of the required compiling tools.

A recent Reddit entry covered the required steps.

I would love to work on this issue. I think step by step guide will be good under Windows section in install.rst just like in above reddit post.
