This is a continuation of residualvm/residualvm#1712. Compared to that PR, this PR now adapts the Myst3 and ICB engines as well.

It's used 32bits internally, so no regression, with 16bits as output we can use for now, after merge plugin scaller PR, we can figure out how to switch output to 32bits.
