  • Test with external MIDI hardware.
  • Is there a way to enumerate available ports?

ccawley2011: If you are happy to, we could merge this as-is since it adds functionality to the RISCOS port and is limited to that platform... Maybe add the TODO notes as comments in the code for future work by yourself or other RISCOS developer/porter/enthusiast! :)

It looks fine to me and mergeable, also backporting is possible
