This is the public branch of btas which will be purged of references to bmslib.

	MATURITY

This software is very stable, having been in production for 20+ years.
However, it has only ever been used by one set of applications.  Certain
minor bugs have not been fixed due to time pressure.  So it is not
polished for general consumption.  I am working to rectify that now.

	LICENSE

This software consists of a shared server and a client library.  The
server is licensed under GPL.  The client library under LGPL.
