How-to

NOTE that we used 100% cotton fabric with no metallic, glittery or other funky dyes. Please be careful to check the laser materials safety sheets before using any other kinds of fabric.

Note: test worked for up to 8 layers of cotton fabric. You might be able to do more but we didn’t test beyond that. Lighter almost white color fabrics had more burning and more chances of maybe having a tiny spot not completely laser through. This only happened minimally though. Also any burning was easily covered by the seam allowance on the project and can’t be seen in the final results. Taping the fabric to the bed with masking tape worked well to prevent flutters.
