Visitors and Guests

Visitor Policy

Bringing Visitors

  • You can bring unlimited visitors with you to the space
  • Visitors may use the wifi and common areas
  • Visitors may not use any equipment that requires certification
  • You are responsible for ensuring your visitors follow all community rules

Guest Passes

One-Day Access

  • If your visitors need to use tools, you must purchase a one-time Guest Pass for $20
  • Guest Passes can be purchased using your account on our membership page: seattlemakers.org/memberships
  • The Guest Pass grants them the same access as your membership level for one day
  • All safety/training requirements for tool or studio use still apply to guests

Member Responsibility

  • You must accompany your guests while they use the space
  • You are responsible for them following all community rules
  • You are responsible for ensuring they meet all safety requirements
  • You may be held liable for any damage caused by your guests

Family and Friends

Family Members

  • Family members are not included in your standard membership
  • We offer discounted memberships for family/household members
  • For details about family memberships, inquire in person or email contact@seattlemakers.org

Introducing New Makers

  • We encourage you to invite friends and family to join our community
  • Suggested ways to introduce them:
    • Invite them to a tour
    • Bring them to a class
    • Invite them to certification sessions
    • Bring them to meetup events

Group Visits

For organized group visits or tours, please contact us in advance at contact@seattlemakers.org to make arrangements.
