Here you will find a description of current projects and instructions for getting started if you are new to the lab. The overarching goal of the research is to leverage the big metadata from data repositories and trace data to examine the structures and dynamics of collaboration networks. We analyze the impact of collaboration networks on scientific capacity, equity in global science production, and knowledge diffusion. Projects in the lab focus in three main areas: Cyberinfrastructure-Enabled Scientific Collaboration Practices, Metrics for the Social Good, and Community Data Archives.
