Issue
Currently, the Gestures pane indicates a gesture’s status by bolding its name. However, this method is not user-friendly, as it:
- Does not allow sorting based on active/inactive status.
- Makes it difficult for users to quickly identify and manage activated or deactivated gestures.
This lack of sorting functionality can be frustrating, especially for users with a long list of gestures:
Proposed Solution
I propose adding a dedicated "Status" column to the Gestures pane. This column would:
- Clearly indicate whether a gesture is active or inactive.
- Allow sorting by status, so users can quickly prioritize activated or deactivated gestures as needed.
Benefits
- Improves organization, making gesture management more efficient.
- Enhances usability by providing an easy way to filter active/inactive gestures.
- Maintains UI consistency, aligning with other panels that allow sorting by relevant attributes.
This small but impactful improvement would significantly enhance the user experience in managing gestures.
