I wanted a way to use connect-logger to log to a database. I got it working pretty well, but also wanted to log to stdout in a different format.

See my gist:

  1. Is there a "right" way to do this
  2. If not wil you accept my pull request so I don't have to copy the compile function.

why not just use the tokens or supply a callback function? logger() already allows that

as for the database part just use { stream: obj } and implement .write() to write to stdout/the database etc
