@visionmedia if possible please release a new version of connect/express that includes your recent changes to connect. Right now the latest version of connect on npm has qs which gets broken from adding enumerable properties to Array.prototype and includes a version of formidable that ignores the hash option.
Well, formidable does something even worse than ignoring the hash option: given the has option, it always returns the hash for the empty string, making it seem like the hashing is working. This just burned an application relying on formidable :)
