I have downloaded the latest version of jqtouch, phone gap, iOS etc. and several other versions.

It seems like form all the forum osts about jqtouch fastTouch is auto anabled, and i have even tried fastTouch: true in initialization. But Ihave had no luck in gettting it to work in Phonegap or just in safari.

Can some one tell me if i understand that fasttouch is standard now in jqtouch, or oif im missing something obivious with a version?

Version s im using/tried:
jqtouch:

senchalabs-jQTouch-afa4097

jqtouch-1.0-b4-rc

iOS 5.0.1

Xcode 42

phone gap 1.3

having similar issues, running directly in Safari as well as the iPhone simulator (with phonegap)

The tap delay on interface elements in the jqtouch demo (running from the jqtouch website) is massive when running from Safari (id's say close to a second). Tap delay on hyperlinks is less (i'd say about 1/3 of a second). The To-Do app and Clock app both are totally snappy and have no delay at all.

jqtouch-1.0-b4-rc

iOs 5.0

iPhone 4s

Some progress as to the cause :) but not sure how to fix?

I have narrowed it down to when you move between views(divs) and the div being animated to has iscroll in it.

I have tested it several ways in both browser, and phonegap on iPhone4, with iOS 5.0.1 and this seems to be consistent.

So if you can get rid of the need for iscroll in your app thats a quick fix, but i probably need iscroll.

And this is why when you mention the to-do and clock app are snappy - they dont have iscroll in the views(divs).

Any one else make any progress or ideas?
