  • Sequel Pro Version: Build 5446 (97c1b85)
  • macOS Version: Mojave 10.14
  • MySQL Version: 5.7

The Last Error Message doesn't update correctly when a new query is run. It will often show the message from the previous query until you hover over with your mouse.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Run a successful query (e.g. select version();)
  2. Run an unsuccessful query with cursor in the query panel (e.g. select from db;) -> Last Error Message will show "There were no errors"
  3. Hover mouse over Last Error Message panel and watch it update to correct error message.

Expected Behaviour
Correct error message displays without hover (here: "You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'from db' at line 1")
