When connecting to MySQL 5.6 with an expired password, SequelPro comes back with the following message.

Connected to host, but unable to connect to database mysql.
Be sure that the database exists and that you have the necessary privileges.
MySQL said: You must SET PASSWORD before executing this statement

It should still allow the connect so the user can then change the expired password.

There is an existing bug against 5.7. But will be good if someone can pick this up.
