I spent most of this evening wondering why my custom snippets were not working at all. I thought I had my snippets in an incorrect path, but I finally figured out the reason why & wanted to know if you were aware of it.

You specify (in your docs) that users should change the extensions_path setting in Emmet.sublime-settings, which I did, but the snippets still did not work at all. I made the change to User/Emmet.sublime-settings but not until I changed the same file in the Emmet plugin folder did the snippets start to work. Am I right in saying that if you update the plugin, this settings file could be updated? Is it possible to use the settings file in my User folder? Is there a reason for this behaviour?

Cheers

I’ve just tested, everything works fine. You should change extensions_path in users’ Emmet.sublime-settings.

Make sure your settings file contains a proper JSON data (check console for possible error reports).
