Digilent chipKIT Wi-Fire board (schematics, manual, Eagle files) is compatible with Arduino platform, but based on Microchip PIC32MZ microcontroller.
Features:
- PIC32MZ microcontroller 200 MHz (MIPS architecture, DSP)
- 43 available i/o pins, 5V tolerant
- 12 analog inputs, 0V to 3.3V voltage range
- Microchip MRF24WG0MA WiFi module at SPI4
- Micro SD card connector at SPI3
- On-board oscillator 24 MHz
- USB 2.0 OTG controller with USB and micro-USB connectors
- Mini-USB connector with FTDI convertor to UART4
- Four user LEDs
- Two user buttons
- Reset button
- Potentiometer
- JTAG and ICSP ports
- 3.3V operating voltage
- Power select switch: from mini-USB, from USB OTG or from external source
- External power connector, 7V to 15V input voltage recommended, 30V max
Memory:
- 2 Mbytes of program Flash memory
- 160 kbytes of additional boot Flash memory
- 512 kbytes of RAM
A rich set of peripheral functions is available: UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, ADC, timers. Two internal oscillators available: 8 MHz and 32 kHz.
