"binary-encode" doesn't advertise the fact that there is a decoder and it also sounds like it is dealing with 1s and 0s.

binary-serialize perhaps? or direct-serialize? flat-pack? Maybe a pun on "pack-rat"...

The rename has angered the gods of Travis-CI, so you might need to fix that ;)

@AngryLawyer Thanks for letting me know! I updated the cargo file, travis link and documentation.

I couldn't find anything broken with travis other than the link in the readme, so let me know if whatever you found is still not working.
