This might be nitpicking, but I'm not sure about the "Developers form pairs.." part.
I think I'd rather say something along the lines of
Applicants form pairs ("teams") and [...]

This sounds a bit funny (reading about a talk, even though the actual link leads to a blogpost).
Maybe putting it something like this might be better:

Besides those two nitpicks, it looks good to me! One more thing, the post in it's current form looks a bit bare to me, it would be great to add an image or two. The Servo logo in some form totally fits, and I would totally borrow the RGSoC call-to-action image from JAM's post, for the last paragraph or the very end of the post, it looks great, and fits the post perfectly:
