It makes the deserialisation simpler because we can move out from a tuple,
contrary to an array.

This PR doesn't include a bump because @nical got some other breaking changes planned. If I finish all other serde bumps in all other repositories and @nical isn't done with his changes by then, I'll bump Euclid to 0.9.0 in a separate PR.
