Applying the salt-the-salt-master went fine, but after doing so for any new highstate we now get:

2016-08-18 13:55:29,962 [salt.minion      ][WARNING ][20391] TypeError encountered executing state.highstate: get_pillar() got an unexpected keyword argument 'pillarenv'. See debug log for more info.

I restarted the salt-minion and salt-master services and it seems to be working.

The Salt services do NOT auto-restart because of tricky ordering and re-exec issues - it has to be done manually.
