This looks like a test harness error.

Sigh. Based on https://github.com/web-platform-tests/wpt/blob/fd085a713370bbd153f6b85eb64de44a52c3244d/resources/testharness.js#L2366-L2383, it looks like the onload handler for the iframe in https://github.com/web-platform-tests/wpt/blob/master/css/cssom-view/matchMedia-display-none-iframe.html is being invoked multiple times.
