Do you plan Windows support in near future?

@elennaro Unfortunately, no, Windows is not on our Roadmap (https://github.com/servo/servo/wiki/Roadmap), at least through 2015.

Sorry for being annoying, but why? It's so sad! At least if this is browser for end users, no matter how you'll try, until you don't support IOS for mobile and Windows for desktop you won't get enough testers developers and end users (and I definitely wanna be a tester).
Assume that it is a manifestation of concern from Mozilla fan.

It's expected to be a significant investment of work, and we are a small team with a lot of other planned projects with higher expected rewards. We welcome patches, but simply don't have the resources to dedicate to supporting a fourth platform at this point.

Quoting #1908:

Stuff we need to implement for sure: [...]
And then there's probably a lot of other work we don't know about.

Windows support something we’d like to have, but that comes after many other things when allocating our very limited resources. So it all depends on what mean by near future. Also keep in mind that Servo is not a full desktop browser, but a browser engine. It’s much closer to Gecko, WebKit, or Blink than Firefox, Safari, or Chrome.

As to iOS, it’s a whole other story that involves many constraints that are not in our control. You may have heard that even Firefox is not available on Apple’s App Store.
