This should be as simple as uncommenting the line I wrote in

servo/components/net/fetch/request.rs

Line 289 in 450931a

    
           // if cors_flag && locationUrl.origin() != self.url.origin() { self.origin = None; }

, but ultimately depends on the implementation of the origin() method in rust-url (servo/rust-url#54).
