Shouldn't things like .swp for vim and *foo.bak for emacs just go in your /home/$user/.gitconfig instead of in every project? |

oh yeah. I forgot about the global config. Thanks for the reminder. Its in fact the right place instead of fixing it per project. Closing it as invalid. |
