I also suggest that a file be made for each major section of the README.
This allows people who use cat or less, and other command line tools, to read short bursts of relevant information instead of one huge file.
These extra files will have, of course, extra information.
The file I'd create (and probably will) are:

- CREDITS.markdown
- LICENSE.markdown
- USING.markdown
- INSTALLING.markdown
- CONTRIBUTING.markdown

This specifically will allow us to put the extension information in greater detail in the USING.markdown file.

The specific reasons for these changes fall under my FSTE (First Sell, Then Educate) ideal.
Hooking developers on the project by showing them a manageable amount of the uses, and then educating them later on the finer points.
An alternative to smashing it all down their gullet in one big file.

Just merged in your pull request. I'm not sure I'm sold on creating that many top-level readme-style files in the project. I like that you've started creating wiki pages though. :) Thanks.

As long as the information is out there I'm happy.
