ActiveRecord models are i18n'ed with Globalize3. Mongid supports this feature out of the box. Any plans on supporting this awesome feature? :))

I was trying add support for Mongoid Localized fields. I did RailsAdminMongoLoc plugin with two custom fields types:

  • textml (localized analog of native text field)
  • stringml (localized string).

It has one important problem: function sanitize_params_for! makes impossible to save localized fields. Think it because I'm saving this fields through corresponding _localizedField__translations methods as mongoid docs says.

For now i did dirty hack: commented call of that function in edit.rb. Will be very glad if someone help me to fix that, cause I'm not very experienced in ruby.

Thanks, it helped me.

Now I want to configure the factory. I was trying to find out whether field has parameter localize: true, but couldn't. Is it possible? Or maybe there is a better way?

+1 OP, that's definitely a crucial feature
