I'd love to be able to setup a proxy so I can use my whitelisted IP. I'm hosted on a cloud instance, so this is a requirement for me. I'm not entirely sure how I could set the proxy other than editing the gem.
twitter.com is banned in China, i can't use the twitter gem to test some apis in localhost, how can i?
Add proxy support

sorry I didn't see this earlier. I didn't actually edit the gem with a proxy, I ended up using a different plugin (that sucks). If this has proxy support, I'd totally switch over.
is it support the socks proxy? im using ssh
Can you guys please test it out verify that there aren't any bugs in 1.0.0.rc.4?
You should be able to install it with gem install twitter --pre.
gem install twitter --pre
