Sky

About Sky

Sky aims to be a convenient wrapper around rsync or a similar uploader, that allows one to upload files to a remote host and in exchange get the resultant URL from which other people can download the share files.

For example, if you do from the command line:

    $ sky --to=video Shine4U.webm

Then sky will call:

    rsync -a -v --progress --inplace Shine4U.webm homepage:public_html/share-dir/video/

And afterwards display the following URL for copy+paste:

    http://www.my-home-page.tld/share-dir/video/Shine4U.webm
