If you would like to contribute to this specification, here are the preferred steps:
If you don’t have one already, create a GitHub user account.
Use the GitHub Web UI to create your own fork of the console-spec git repository and check it out to make a local console-spec workspace.
Make your changes to the
index.htmlfile in your copy.
Add your information (name, url, mailto address, etc.) to the
editorsarray near the top of the source of the
Add your name to the value of the
additionalCopyrightHoldersvariable near the top of the
index.htmlfile. Note that by adding your name to the
additionalCopyrightHoldersvariable, you are agreeing to make your contributions available under the terms of the MIT license.
Commit the updated
index.htmlfile to your local git repository, then push it to your GitHub console-spec fork.
Send a GitHub console-spec pull request so that your change can be committed into the upstream source.
