   * EWF format documentation

The source code for the tool is licensed under the zlib license (see
tool/LICENSE).

This is a command line tool. It takes a raw PCM file (headerless) and outputs
a PCM instrument in the format used by the Echo sound engine (usually ".ewf"
extension). The raw PCM file should be unsigned 8-bit mono 16050 Hz.

You can build this tool by using the makefile or just compiling together all
the C files. This tool is licensed under the zlib license.

To convert a PCM file into EWF:

   pcm2ewf «infile» «outfile»

It's suggested to use the ".ewf" extension for Echo PCM instruments (e.g.
"example.ewf").
