physical trees

  1. order trees by the number of leaves
  2. order code by the number of statements

train a deeplearning network to map between these things

then, trees can write computer programs

I think you could map to trees and leaves, branching indicates parentheses and leaves are iotas?

interesting; that would be a very direct mapping

i was thinking that the additional information present in the tree (say the shape of the particular leaf, or whatever) could add to the way it choses whatever statement to apply at any given moment

i.e. combine some deep learning thing that just takes a photo of the tree; but then maybe iterate down that photo to every leaf, and allow that leaf to be mapped to a statement, but i guess yes it'd be nice to track the kind of relationship between leaves etc....
