I tried it out and ran into a bug, which I've reported and submitted a PR for:

• GitHub links have rogue b'xxx' embedded in them beanbaginc/beanbag-docutils#1
• Fix for bytes-in-URL bug beanbaginc/beanbag-docutils#2
