In order to work this artifact actually needs to be an apklib and not just a jar. Need to look into creating the apklib with some maven magic with the resources and the class files in there..

Might be a challenge..

This will not work, as there are no java files in the source folder!

I just build an apklib but it didn't work. I digged into it and found that there are no sources. :-(

@burberius That's normal, there is a .readme file in the folder to explain why. I mavenized the project on my github but couldn't find a clean way to install the apklib in the repo.

I've tried to use this dependency and ended up with the same issue. Just mavenizing the project and packaging as apklib won't do the trick, because the android-support-v7-gridlayout.jar is not actually being included in the packaging, so the source is never there. There might be a way to do so by using a maven plugin, but for the time being I created another artifact that installs the jar apart from de apklib.
If you consider it in some way valid, I can make a pull request with a multi-module maven project.

If it integrates into the current deployer and works, sure that would be great.

Hi there, I managed to have gridlayout support library working (setting it up manually). Maybe it can be a starting point for adding it into the sdk deployer. I will try to do it by myself as soon as I finish my current app.
In any case, it's still better than nothing and it might help those landed here looking for the solution as I did.

You can find the details here:
