Switch code not updating Alexa

Hi,
Have there been any recent changes to the way the Sinric code updates Alexa on the power state of a switch? The scenario I refer to is say a button in the device’s code turns a switch on or off locally and then tries to tell Sinric/alexa about that change something goes wrong. The Sinric app reflects the correct state as does the actual device. The Alex app however momentarily says ‘on’ but then incorrectly goes back to displaying off.

I have had the same switch code (based on the examples) running for many months without change and it worked fine until recently. So looks like something wrong between Sinric and Alexa code in that Alexa is not staying in sync. Your comments please.

Code related to Alexa hasn’t changed for a long time. Your issue is when you use a push button to on/off switch, it doesn’t reflect in the Alexa app it that correct?

Apologies, reading my post again I see that in trying to describe the issue I’ve confused it. I’ll try again: When using the Alexa app (iPhone) to turn on a Sinric device that is currently off, when I press the Alexa screen icon it momentarily displays ‘on’ but approx 500ms later returns to displaying ‘off’. The device itself has indeed turned on as intended and the Sinric app also correctly says the switch is on. So I end up with Alexa saying it’s off when the device is actually on. The same thing happens the other way around, ie if turning off a device that’s currently on.
I hope I’m making sense this time.

Only reason I can think of is, your device is returning an error back to the server (eg: success = false)

Alexa sends turn on => Sends to your device => errors (success = false) => SinricPro sends error executing => Alexa app turns back to off.

Do you see any error logs in the activity logs?

I uncommented the enable debug defines, ran the code, used the Alexa App to turn off one of the switches in my multiswitch code. Prior to above that switch was in an on state. The alexa app showed 'off' and approx 400ms later returned to displaying 'on'. Despite the alexa indication to the contrary the switch itself did go off, the SinricPro app worked as it should and showed off. This code has worked fine in the past, maybe Amazon has changed something??? Your comments please.

Thanks for sharing the logs.

According to the log you have shared, the last request from Alexa to run off the device has been processed by the ESP and sent back to the serve successfully. I looked at the server logs for any errors related to your devices/requests or user id and I did not find anything

Spent sometime setting up 3 test devices. When controlling the devices via Alexa Devices page (in Home), Alexa UI seems little bit buggy when responding to on/off buttons. When I either press on/off it button seems to blink 2 times and stays the same. However, if when I open the device and go it and control the device it reflect the status correctly. I think commands are reflecting/responding correctly and issue in in the Alexa app itself. Testing was done on iPhone Alexa App.
