Multi-database Fraud Protection for WHMCS
FraudSilo allows you to screen new orders against multiple fraud databases at the same time.
At the moment, FraudSilo supports:
- MaxMind minFraud Insights - The largest provider of fraud insights to eCommerce and hosting providers - Get transaction and IP risk scores plus over 80 data points on IPs, emails, devices, payment cards, and more.
- FraudLabs Pro - Free plan available for up to 500 orders per month
- FraudRecord - Hosting industry database of bad actors
- Kickbox - Check for temporary and dispoable emails, plus email deliverability
- Claude - AI powered review of order including data from the other fraud services
- OpenAI - AI powered review of order including data from the other fraud services
- Baseten, DeepInfra, etc - OpenAI compatible APIs for open source LLMs including GLM, Kimi, etc - can be used to run the AI powered review of order including data from the other fraud services
- Private Blocklist - Add your own private blocklist as well
- Create a folder named /modules/fraud/fraudsilo/ in your WHMCS Installation
- Upload the fraudsilo.php into that folder
- In WHMCS, navigate to: System Settings > Fraud Protection > click Activate under FraudSilo.
- Enable the services that you wish to use (FraudLabs Pro, FraudRecord and Kickbox).
- Enter your API keys
- Set your thresholds for which orders will be flagged as Fraud (eg disposable emails, free emails, proxy/VPN IPs, fraud score thresholds)
This project is licensed under the GPLv3. Redistribution, commercial usage, and modifications are allowed only if the full source code is made available under the same license. Rebranding or reselling without significant contribution is strongly discouraged.
