Goals

The overarching goals of Alienscript that should guide its development.

Be a Lisp

Alienscript is a Lisp dialect.

It should feel like a Lisp, but practicality beats purity.

Scheme takes the "purity over practicality" approach, and we all know how prevalent Scheme's become.

Interoperate Smoothly with Existing Javascript Libraries

There are a metric ass-ton of Javascript libraries out there. Alienscript needs to work with them if it will have any chance of survival in the web world.

Eliminate Javascript Pain Points

Alienscript needs to solve some of the problems with modern day Javascript development. Otherwise why would anyone want to use it, aside from a misguided "omg I'm using Lisp on the internet!" mentality?

Something went wrong with that request. Please try again.
