Elfeed fails on HTTPS feeds: Resource temporarily unavailable #146
I was wanting to give Elfeed a try during the last days, but it fails on HTTPS feeds it appears. I get numerous of these errors (after setting
One server is supposedly using a too short Diffie-Hellman key prime, but for all others there seems to be something else wrong.
This is on ArchLinux, Emacs 24.5.1. Some example HTTPS feeds I have:
("https://netzpolitik.org/feed/" it) ("https://www.drupal.org/node/feed" it projekt) ("https://www.ruby-lang.org/en/feeds/news.rss" it projekt ruby)
None of these appear to work. Suggestions (other than not using HTTPS)?
I was having this problem and it went away when I updated to emacs-25.
I have a sneaking suspicion this has something to do with the combination of/interaction between Arch's gnutls and emacs packages and how they deal with certs where the subject name is wrong, but the correct domain is in the SAN section.
